A driver and three passengers were hurt after an SUV flipped over the center median on Route 80, authorities said. The Mount Tabor Volunteer Fire Department was on its way to assist with a commercial alarm on Walsh Drive alongside the Rainbow Lakes Volunteer Fire Department when it was redirected to the rollover crash on the eastbound side of the highway in Parsippany just after 12:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 28. A Monday night crash in Morris County damaged eight telephone poles and caused widespread power outages, authorities said. The Mount Tabor Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash report on Route 10 near Pelican Ski Shops in Denville just after 8:20 p.m. The crash brought down power lines and transformers, causing several to catch fire, the department said. Morris County Firefighters Douse Balcony Blaze At Multi-Family Home (

Numerous fire crews throughout Morris County helped to douse a Tuesday afternoon blaze that broke out on the second-floor balcony of a multi-family home. The Boonton Fire Department responded to the call and requested a second alarm after observing flames billowing from the balcony of the two-story brick building in Boonton around 2:50 p.m., the department said. The fire was placed under control in about 10 minutes, and crews remained at the scene for about an hour and a half, authorities said.
