'Raise Your Sleeves': Six Vaccine Mega Sites Coming Next Month To New Jersey
Six vaccine "mega sites" are expected to open across New Jersey in early January, Gov. Phil Murphy announced during Friday's COVID-19 briefing. The sites will be able to inoculate frontline healthcare workers, and will accommodate essential workers before moving to adults over the age of 65 and those with high-risk medical conditions. NOTE: A spokeswoman for Hackensack University Medical Center said Friday that the hospital hadn't yet received the initial doses of COVID-19 vaccines. "We do NOT have any vaccine at this point nor does anyone else in NJ," said the spokeswoman, Mary Jo Layton.
