Suspect Hospitalized Following Burglary At ‘Nuisance’ Motel In Morris County: Police
A man accused of burglarizing a Morris County motel that was previously cited for excessive calls to police was later hospitalized for evaluation, authorities said.
Tyler Herrick, 25, was identified as the suspect in a burglary at a motel room at the Red Carpet Inn in Hanover on Wednesday, Feb. 2, police Chief Loock said in a Tuesday release.
Herrick, of Morristown, was arrested a short time later as officers found him roaming the halls.

Two men including one arrested for an armed robbery have been charged with using drugs to force a woman into prostitution for more than month in North Jersey, authorities said.
William Wilson, 47, of Belvidere, NJ and Jeremiah Forde, 39, of Budd Lake, forced the adult female into acts of prostitution out of a Hanover hotel, then collected the proceeds, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Acting Chief of Investigations Christoph Kimker, Hanover Police Chief Mark Roddy said.

A Wayne driver who crashed her car while drunk deliberately coughed on Hanover police and told them she had the coronavirus, said authorities who charged her.
Lea Piazza, 28, failed a field sobriety test after crashing on Route 10 near Dryden Way just after 11 p.m., and was being processed by Hanover police when she began purposely coughing on officer Erick Magley last Thursday, Hanover police said.
