Swatting: Wayne PD Probes Second Bogus Shooting Call In A Week From Same Neighborhood A second bogus shooting call in the same neighborhood in a week was being investigated by Wayne police. Once again, police mobilized after getting the call late Sunday, Aug. 24 -- the same as they did on Easter Sunday. And once again, the call to the home on Gates Place off Valley Road and Berdan Avenue near the Point View Reservoir was a hoax and all residents were safe. An EMS unit remained on standby as a precaution.
