Latest: Head-On Bridge Crash, Attempted Murder Charge Follows Hammer Attack At Rockland Hotel UPDATE: A man accused of trying to kill his girlfriend with a hammer at a Clarkstown hotel was captured after a wild chase that ended in a head-on crash on a heavily-traveled bridge. Clarkstown police said they responded to reports of a woman screaming at the Tappan Zee Hotel on northbound Route 303 shortly after 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17. They found a victim, they said, who told them that her boyfriend, 46-year-old Todd Humphrey of Stony Point, had hit her in the head with a hammer while she was in the shower.  She escaped the room and got the attention of hotel staff who dialed 911 as Hump…

Rasheen Joseph Miller, 18, was charged with 12 counts of felony aggravated assault, four counts of reckless endangerment, felony child endangerment, and simple assault, State Police in Bethlehem said in a Wednesday release. Police Nab NJ Hit-Run Driver Who Killed Woman, 68, With Sedan Stolen From Hackensack, Nypd Says An unlicensed 18-year-old hit-and-run driver from Union County was captured after police said he slammed a sedan stolen out of Hackensack into another vehicle on Staten Island, killing a female passenger and critically injuring her husband.
