Nypd Nabs Accused Paterson Shooter In Bronx New York City police captured a Paterson man who authorities said shot a Bronx man the night before. The 24-year-old victim went to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City after he was shot shortly before 3 a.m. Monday near the corner of Park Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and city Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a joint announcement. Hasbrouck Heights Police Nab Texas Fugitive Hasbrouck Heights police nabbed a fugitive from Texas after receiving an emergency call from a local hotel. Varri Special Harrison, 27, was taken into custody on aggravated domestic violence assault charges Sunday after police were called to the Hilton Hotel off Polifly Road between Routes 17 and 80, records show. They then discovered a fugitive warrant out of Dallas County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Harrison remained held Tuesday in the Bergen County Jail pending extradition proceedings.

Officer Joseph Scrafani ran a computer check after stopping the vehicle on eastbound Route 46 and discovered not only that Peter J. Griffin, 33, Route 46 had both a suspended driver's license and registration. He was also wanted on a fugitive warrant out of Franklin County. Griffin escaped from a minimum-security facility after being convicted in January 2016 of first-degree methamphetamine possession, records show.
