Perdue Issues Recall For Chicken Products Shoppers may want to check twice in the frozen food aisle, after more than 500 pounds of a popular Perdue chicken product was been recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced this week that 530 pounds of chicken products have been recalled because they contain eggs, a known allergen that is not declared clearly on the product’s label.
