Clifton PD: Serial Burglar Rams Police Cruiser, Fights Officers An accused burglar tried to get away from Clifton police by ramming their cruiser with his car – forcing an officer to jump out of the way – before they subdued and arrested him, authorities said. It began with an East 5th Street burglary Thursday afternoon. A witness reported seeing 55-year-old David Britt fleeing the house with a black garbage bag filled with stolen valuables, Detective Lt.
