A man who was struck and killed by a commuter bus near the George Washington Bridge earlier this week was the brother of actor Jason Patric. Jordan Miller, 56, lived in Fort Lee and was one of the customer service "red caps" who assist people moving through the Port Authority bus terminal just across the Hudson in midtown Manhattan. A Fort Lee resident was struck and killed by a commuter bus while crossing a busy intersection near the George Washington Bridge before dawn Wednesday. The NJ Transit bus was headed north on Lemoine Avenue when the driver made a left turn onto Bruce Reynolds Boulevard (formerly Bridge Plaza South) and struck the 56-year-old pedestrian at 5:05 a.m. Jan. 10, Fort Lee Deputy Police Chief Edward Young said. A 59-year-old Fort Lee pedestrian was struck and killed Friday near the George Washington Bridge, authorities said. Lan Zhang was crossing Bruce Reynolds Boulevard heading north when a 2005 Ford Econoline van turning left from southbound Lemoine Avenue hit her Friday morning, Capt. Ricky Mirkovic said.
