Was It You? $1M Lottery Ticket Winner Sold In Clifton
If you purchased a Mega Millions lottery ticket from the Welsh Farms and Blimpie sub shop in Clifton, your future may get much brighter. A second-tier prizewinning ticket worth $1 million from Tuesday's drawing was sold at the Main Avenue sandwich shop. The winning numbers were 24, 37, 41, 61, and 70. The Gold Mega Ball was 20, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03. The next drawing will be held Friday, May 3 at 11 p.m.

Johnny's Pizzamore No More: Rutherford Pizzeria To Close
Johnny's Pizzamore will be closing its Rutherford shop. Owner John Grand made the announcement on Facebook earlier this month. The pizzeria had been sharing a space on Park Avenue with Blimpie, but expanded once Blimpie closed, the pizzeria expanded. Johnny's offered subs and homemade desserts by Confections by Carla. Authorities: Hawthorne Blimpie's Fire Set By Owner
An arson fire at a Blimpie’s sandwich shop in Hawthorne two months ago was set by the owner, authorities charged. Robert Pinero, 34, of North Bergen was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated arson and conspiracy, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Hawthorne Police Chief Richard McAuliffe said in a joint release. Pinero and another man entered the strip mall store on Wagaraw Road just before 1 a.m. Aug. 18, minutes before the fire call came in, Valdes and McAuliffe said.
