American Dream Announces 4 Eateries Coming To Munchies Food Hall
The American Dream Mall announced the names of four restaurants coming to its food hall. Van Leeuwen's Artisinal Ice Cream, Green Leaf’s & Bananas, Noriya Sushi and Likkle More Jerk are the latest coming to the 38,000 square-foot Munchie's Food Hall, owned by owned by Vice's food website "MUNCHIES." The hall has yet to open and there has been no word of an opening date. The mall recently laid off 100 employees due to the COVID-19 crisis. The American Dream Mall isn’t looking so dreamy after approximately 100 employees were laid off due to financial issues from the COVID-19 pandemic, reports say. The developer of the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford has missed two monthly payments on its $1.4 billion mortgage for the Mall of America in Minnesota, media reports say. A worker hospitalized after a collision at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford on Wednesday has died, authorities said. Eric Papenfuhs, 37, of the Hunterdon County town of Hampton, was brought to the trauma unit at Hackensack University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after a Bobcat utility vehicle he was operating crashed into the back of a flatbed around 2:15 p.m., they said.
