When angels cry

Suzanne Fallon Mahoney was for many years a caring and compassionate X-ray and MRI technician at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. But last week, the 44-year-old mother of two from Leonia walked out of the hospital for the final time.

We often call them euphemisms, but to say that Mahoney entered eternal rest soon after is precisely how her passing should be characterized — and remembered.

She leaves two children: Daniel Thomas Mahoney and Michaella Ann Mahoney. A mother: Lorraine Coppola of Fort Lee. Several nieces and nephews, as well as a brother and sister, both married.

This is to tell you that visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032 on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a funeral service to follow. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daniel Thomas & Michaella Ann Mahoney Trust Fund, 143C Grand Ave., Leonia, NJ 07605.
