Ski-masked robber takes $800 at gunpoint from Lodi 7-Eleven

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Lodi police released a surveillance image this morning of a robber wearing a ski mask who took $800 at gunpoint overnight from a local 7-Eleven.

An employee was mopping the floor near the coffee aisle at 3:50 a.m. when the robber entered the Main Street convenience store “brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun” at 3:50 a.m., Lt. Robert Salerno said.

He was wearing a wool hat with eye cutouts and a mouth cutout, the lieutenant said.

The robber then “led the employee behind the counter and demanded the money from the register” before fleeing with the cash, he saidl

The robber was described as thin, about 5-foot-9 and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo, black jogging pants with a blue thin stripe and white sneakers.
