Separate videos released by Fort Lee police show the violent attack outside the M&T Bank on Main Street just after 9 p.m. Sunday, as well as the accused mugger riding across the George Washington Bridge soon after.
The man in the videos and accompanying surveillance photos “stole an undisclosed amount of cash as well as two cellphones from the victim” after throwing her to the ground, “leaving her lying on the pavement with serious injuries,” Capt. Patrick Kissane said.
“Through our investigation it was determined that the suspect may have been in the vicinity of 40th Street and 8th Avenue shortly after the attack,” Kissane added.
He described him as possibly Hispanic, between 5’6”-5’8”, wearing a flat cap hat, a white and black t-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers. He was seen riding a red and white colored mountain bicycle.
