That came five minutes before a PAPD officer nabbed a Queens driver who owed nearly $6,400, authorities said.

Evangelin Murcia, 32, was stopped after driving her 2002 Nissan through the E-ZPass lane without a transponder, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

Besides having a suspended license, Murcia amassed 91 toll violations, Pentangelo said.

The Nissan was impounced and Murcia was released pending a July 28 court appearance in Hackensack on charges of theft of services, toll evasion and driving while suspended. She also received traffic summonses, Pentangelo said.

Five minutes after the stop, he said, another Port Authority officer stopped a 2004 Nissan that rolled through an E-ZPass lane without a transponder -- not to mention an expired inspection sticker -- and found 99 violations against 28-year-old Zachery A. Elyshevit of Queens.

Elyshevit's E-ZPass privileges, like Murcia's, had been revoked, Pentangelo said.

Elyshevit was arrested on theft of services charges and the car was impounded, he said.
