Port Authority PD: $27,000 Mugshot For GWB Toll Evader

FORT LEE, N.J. -- He smiled for what's going to be a $27,000 mugshot after Port Authority police charged a GWB motorist with toll evasion on Wednesday.

Officer Lionel Gonzalez stopped Christian Coral, 42, of Newark after his 2008 Jeep illegally rolled through an E-ZPass lane, the Port Authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

Coral was arrested and his Jeep impounded after a quick computer check turned up $27,000.00 in unpaid tolls and fees, Pentangelo said.

Police released him on a summons to appear in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on July 21 on theft of services and toll evasion charges.
