A Bergen County Sheriff’s police officer who chased a Teaneck man driving a stolen car from Fort Lee overnight went to his house a short time later and arrested him.

Officer Matt Bartlett of the sheriff’s Bureau of Police Services tried stopping 28-year-old Shawne Wolfe on westbound Route 4 after he blew a red lght in Fort Lee around 2:30 a.m., BCSO spokesman Anthony Cureton told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Wolfe turned off onto Teaneck Road and then down Bogert Street, where he pulled into a driveway and took off through local backyards, Cureton said.
