New Synagogue Holocaust Museum in Fort Lee to receive World Trade Center steel

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A piece of steel from the World Trade Center will be presented to the New Synagogue Holocaust Museum in Fort Lee tomorrow morning by Bill Baroni, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Also expected at the 11 a.m. ceremony is Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich, New Synagogue Rabbi Meir Berger and Ronnie Streichler, the museum’s curator.

Baroni and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno have been traveling around New Jersey presenting pieces of WTC steel to be used in public memorials honoring the victims of 9/11.

Tomorrow’s event will take place at the New Synagogue Holocaust Museum, 1585 Center Ave.
