New officers hired, sergeant promoted by Bergen County Sheriff Saudino

SHOUT OUTS: Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino welcomed two new hires while promoting a detective to sergeant.

Sgt. Christopher Sloma has been a member of the BCSO for 13 years, beginning his career as a correction officer and becoming a sheriff’s officer and, later, a detective.

Saudino also swore in new Sheriff’s Officer Christine Scarpato and Investigator Geraldine McQueen.
