Emanuel J. Walker, 38, of Long Island City, inexplicably began banging on the worker’s car with his fists and threatening the driver yesterday afternoon, said Steve Coleman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Port Authority police responded and handcuffed Walker, who they said initially resisted arrest.

A background check turned up the warrant for not showing up for court on a charge from last May of being under the influence of drugs.

Walker was being held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
