Michael Wojcik, 24, of Autumn Street, was being held on $500,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with attempted murder and weapons possession.
Police were investigating a Hope Street noice complaint around 1:40 a.m. yesterday when they discovered the second-floor apartment in disarray and the walls spattered with blood, Lt. Robert Salerno said ths afternoon.
The 61-year-old victim was on the floor, having been stabbed during “some type of physical altercation,” the lieutenant said.
He was hospitalized and Wojcik was taken into custody, Salerno said.
