Leonia police seek those responsible for fuel spill

DID YOU SEE THEM? Leonia police were tracking down whoever was responsible for a fuel spill that forced the closure of stretches of Fort Lee Road and Grand Avenue for cleanup this afternoon.

The vehicle responsible was headed east on Fort Lee Road before going north on Grand Avenue toward Englewood, police said.

Eastbound Fort Lee Road was briefly clogged as Leonia firefighters and DPW workers cleaned up the spill.

Authorities asked that anyone with information that could help find those responsible call Leonia PD: (201) 944-0800
