Officers responding to a citizen’s call spotted 45-year-old Michael Faulch between Cottage Place driveways just before 1 a.m. last Tuesday, Capt. Darren Sucorowski said.

Faulch took off through a backyard, emerged on Lanza Avenue and crossed the street, Sucorowski said.

He was later grabbed trying to climb a fence behind a shed on Division Avenue and fought briefly with officers before being taken into custody, the captain said.

Faulch was being held on $20,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with two counts of motor vehicle burglary and two of resisting arrest (by flight and by force).
