Joseph L. Dimino, 56, is free on $75,000 bail after being arrested this morning on a host of charges.

Staff, students and faculty were enjoying a special field day at the No. 3 School, when Dimino showed up sometime after 9 this morning, in violation of a judge’s order that he stay away from his 54-year-old ex-wife, records show.

Soon after, the 5-foot-10-inch, 160-pound Dimino hit Principal Robert Kravitz, police said. The principal wasn’t seriously injured, they said.

Fort Lee police filed a half-dozen charges against Dimino:

burglary;
assault on a school employee;
assault at a youth sporting event;
child endangerment;
two counts of contempt of a judicial order.

Dimino, who now lives in New York City, remains free pending a Fort Lee Municipal Court hearing.
