Investigators from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Fort Lee police arrested Gung “Dan” Kim, 29, yesterday after the two women told them he “touched them in a sexual manner” at the SBK Medical Group office on Center Avenue, Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this morning.
Both women said the incidents occured last Friday while they were alone with him, the prosecutor said.
Kim, of Metuchen, also works at the Edison Kidney Center, also in Middlesex County, Molinelli said. He is single.
“it appears that the victims were unaware of Kim’s position in the medical offices,” the prosecutor said. Hired last Septemeber, he “is not a licensed physician or nurse but, rather, works as an assistant to the physicians.”
Kim was released on $50,000 cash bail, charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact.
Molinelli asked that anyone who may have information about Kim to contact Fort Lee police (201-592-3510) or the county SVU (201-226-5620).
