Jonathan Puello, 24, was ordered held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated assault, criminal restraint and making terroristic threats, police said.
Puello had two puncture wounds and a cut on his neck, face and hands when police responded to the Skyview Motel on Bergen Boulevard just after 7 a.m. Tuesday, Detective Capt. Patrick Kissane told Daily Voice.
Officers also arrested one of two other people in the room, 22-year-old Chelsea Valoy of Hackensack, who Kissane said "wasn't involved in the domestic assault," but was carrying bogus credit cards and government documents.
She was ordered held on $15,000 bail in the county lockup, charged with identity theft, credit card fraud, trafficking in personal identification information, money laundering and possession of false government documents.
