After arresting the pair following a traffic stop before dawn on Saturday, Fort Lee police turned Gayle Fiume over to authorities in Edgewater, where she was wanted for not answering a summons for driving while on the suspended list.
Records show she also was charged with violating municipal ordinances in Cliffside Park seven times last year, beginning in July and continuing through Dec. 30.
Edgewater police today said they charged her with drug possession after finding Fiume carrying cocaine.
Her husband, 67-year-old Darryl Peter Fiume, was wanted for not answering a careless driving summons out of Fort Lee.
Darryl Fiume, who was involved in a crash on Route 4 in Paramus in July, was also charged with driving while on the suspended list.
Both were taken to the Bergen County Jail on Saturday and released soon after — Gayle Fiume after posting $1,160 bail and Darryl Fiume after posing $1,176 bail, records show.
