Members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force were investigating drug dealing when they stopped a 2009 Buick Enclave on the Route 95 lower-level toll plaza approach on Monday, authorities said.
A search turned up seven kilograms of coke in a duffle bag on the back seat -- as well as 16 kilos in an electronically-operated hidden compartment, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
Detectives arrested the driver, 32-year-old Rodolmy Gonzalez-Hernandez on drug charges, the prosecutor said.
A judge ordered that he remain held without bond in the Bergen County Jail following a detention hearing.
