Three people were arrested, two of them from Jersey City.

It brought the total to four the total number of firearms recovered by the Bergen County Police Department during traffic stops in just over a month.
BCPD Officer Fred Rivera stopped the red Honda Civic on westbound Route 46 Monday night, Capt. James Mullin told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.
Rivera grew suspicious “when the three occupants of the vehicle provided him with conflicting and inconsistent answers to his questions,” Mullin said, so he requested and obtained written consent to search the car.
In the truck the officer found the cash, along with a Sig Sauer P228 9mm and a Davis Industries P380 .380 cal., also known as a Saturday Night Special, the captain said.
All three occupants denied ownership, Mullin said.
They were taken into custody, he said.
The cash was seized and the guns sent to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office for ballistics testing to determine whether they were stolen or used in previous crimes, the captain said.

The driver, 23-year-old Natausha L. Bourquin of Springfield, Vt., and passengers Crystal L. Canas, 21, and 33-year-old Manuel Robles, both of Jersey City, were charged with two counts each of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Robles, in addition was charged with hindering arrest by identifying himself as someone else. Detainers were also placed on him for skipping court once in Hoboken and twice in Jersey City, records show.
Bourquin received a traffic summons, as well, Mullin said.
All three remained at the Bergen County Jail this afternoon on $50,000 bail each.
