Authorities: Oxy OD Kills Palisades Park Man

PALISADES PARK, N.J.— A 31-year-old Palisades Park man died of a suspected Oxycontin overdose, responders said.

It was Bergen's 68th opioid OD death in 2017.

It was Bergen County's 68th fatality caused by an opioid overdose this year, Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

There have also been more than 150 Narcan saves of overdose victims by local responders in Bergen County since the beginning of the year, authorities said.
