The robber gave a note to the teller at the Bergen Boulevard bank demanding money just after 2:30 p.m., FBI Special Agent Bryan L. Travers said.
“The bank robber was described as an Asian male, approximately 5-foot-10-inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a black fedora-style hat, black sunglasses, black leather jacket and black trousers,” Travers said.
“The bank robber then fled the bank on foot and dropped a large quantity of the stolen proceeds,” he added. “The dropped stolen proceeds were recovered ultimately turned over to Bergen County CSI, who processed the scene.”
Travers asked that anyone with information about this or any other bank robbery contact the FBI at 973-792-3000.
