Additional Fab Four boxes aren’t coming together, Beatle fans

Contrary to previous reports, Amazon is not only sold out of the Beatles box sets: It won’t be getting anymore — unless EMI comes up with a solution. So says Mikal Gilmore, a man who should know.

Both the stereo and mono packages have “already sold out and can no longer be ordered,” writes Gilmore, one of the premiere music journalists in rock and roll history. “I’m hoping EMI doesn’t intend to leave things in this state.”
