Jung D. Pak, 47, defrauded his previous employers, the owner of Yamato Sushi in Teterboro, “by promising to negotiate contracts with fish vendors affiliation,” BCPD Lt. James Mullin said.

Pak also wrote a pair of rubber checks for $20,000, the lieutenant said.

Mullin said Pak also stole the owner’s identity and paid a $231.59 cell phone bill by tapping the victim’s bank account.

Pak, a native of South Korea, is being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
