Eleanor Vogel, 82, Longtime Fort Lee Resident

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Eleanor (Kahn) Vogel, a longtime resident of Fort Lee, died on Saturday, March 26. She was 82.

A resident of Fort Lee for 50 years, Vogel was an original member of the Englewood Cliffs Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Along with her late husband, she was a founding member. She never missed a Yankee game, with her dog, Lili, at her side.

She is survived by children Olivia Papa of Naples, Florida, and Allan Boyer of Neptune, New Jersey; grandchildren Jamie Chatfield, Erica Roberts, and Alexandra and Gabrielle Boyer; and great-granddaughter Katie Chatfield.

Vogel was predeceased by her husband of over 30 years, Seymour; brother Roger Kahn; and granddaughter Emily Chatfield.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 28, at Cedar Park Cemetery, in Paramus. Eden Memorial Chapels, in Fort Lee, is assisting with arrangements.
