LEONIA, N.J. -- The Christie Heights Street Improvements Project is set to begin next week, northjersey.com reports.
The $245, 439 effort will repave the pot-holed road on Christie Heights St. as well as its curbs and sidewalks over the next few months. Fort Lee-based company Reggio Construction Inc. will perform the milling and paving, which will extend from Broad and Grand avenues and touch part of the middle school campus.
Borough Administrator Jack Terhune said the curbs and sidewalks will be finished before school opens on Sept. 3. but added the paving of the road will continue on and off throughout the fall on weekends and school holidays.
