Palisades Park Library Introduces New Library Cards

PALISADES PARK — Adult library patrons who sign up or need to replace their old cards soon can receive one with the images of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, jazz musician Louis Armstrong, artist Yoko Ono, writer Jack Kerouac or painter Jackson Pollock, according to a story on northjersey.com.

The card's slogan is "encouraging a lifetime love of learning," the northjersey.com story said.

The new cards feature the art work of Steve Cavallo, an artist who is the library's program coordinator, northjersey.com reported. Cavallo has painted more than two dozen murals in the facility and also designed previous library cards, the northjersey.com stoy said. A new card for younger patrons features a dinosaur design by Cavallo, northjersey.com reported.
