Chicken Waste Spill Causes HazMat Situation Along South Jersey Highway A trailer hauling chicken waste products crashed, spilling its contents all over Route 55 and causing a HazMat situation in Gloucester County on Monday, Feb. 27. The northbound side of the roadway was closed in Deptford from mile marker 59.2 to the Route 42 interchange following the 9 a.m. crash. The roadway had reopened as of 1:45 p.m., but crews were still on scene for cleanup. HazMat crews, the New Jersey State Police, NJDOT, and multiple fire departments were on scene.  Environmental services were notified and were monitoring the incident. No injuries were reported.

Washington Township police released photos of a black Dodge Charger that the robbery suspect may have been driving. A 26-year-old victim said she finished work and stopped at the TD Bank in Glassboro to use the ATM before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The victim said that she observed the Dodge Charger sitting in the drive-through line next to her vehicle. Troopers Catch Suicidal Woman Trying To Jump From South Jersey Overpass A pair of New Jersey State Troopers and a Glouceter Township officer are being hailed as heroes after rescuing a suicidal woman from leaping off of an overpass. Troopers Corey Beczo and Brandon Muessig were dispatched to the Route 42 overpass at exit 10A for the report of person sitting on the guardrail around 12:35 p.m. July 26.
