Minivan Slams Into THE Glen Rock A minivan slammed into the gigantic boulder that gave the borough of Glen Rock its name. The alert, conscious driver sustained injuries that responders said weren't life-threatening after his Toyota Highlander rammed the 570-ton boulder at the intersection of Doremus Avenue and Rock Road shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said he may have suffered a medical episode before the crash. The Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps took him to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Police: Man Slashes Tires Of 22 New York Hospital Workers A suspect has been charged after nearly two dozen hospital staffers who ended shifts battling the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic found the tires on their vehicles slashed. It happened in Northern Westchester at the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt. At about 7 a.m. Friday, April 10, state police say they received a report of criminal mischief. An investigation determined Daniel Hall, 29, of Peekskill, slashed the tires on 22 vehicles parked in the hospital parking lot, state police said. Wyckoff PD Nabs ID Thieves Who Tried Cashing Victim's $2,000 Check With Bogus Driver's License Yet another group of ID thieves was thwarted -- this time by bank employees and police in Wyckoff -- after they tried cashing a bogus check for $2,000 using a driver’s license they’d created from an innocent victim’s personal information, authorities said.
