Monmouth U Releases NH Projections In Shrinking GOP Race
Monmouth University has released poll results just ahead of the second Republican primary of the 2024 presidential campaign. The poll shows former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley gaining independent support, but still trailing former President Donald Trump in New Hampshire. It says 52 percent of New Hampshire GOP voters supported Trump, while 34 percent backed Haley. The poll was run in partnership with The Washington Post. REQUIESCAT IN PACE: He was as wise as he was smart, a kind and selfless public servant who cared deeply for both his community and the officers he led. Paterson Police Capt. John Phelan died early Sunday at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center following medical complications. He was only 58. A Silk City native and Clifton resident, Phelan came from a family of responders. His father, Jack, retired as a Paterson police lieutenant. 5 Guns, Three Armed Suspects Seized By Paterson Detectives In Separate Chases
Paterson police detectives recovered three guns after a stolen SUV crashed through a fence in a residential Eastside neighborhood during a chase and three occupants took off on foot. It made five guns seized by the squad in a little over 24 hours.
