An ex-con whose Point Pleasant boardwalk arrest became part of a viral video was busted once again on drug charges, this time along with his roommate, authorities said.
A SWAT team led a raid on the Grand Street apartment in Garfield that Zakee Murphy, 32, shares with fish tank technician Ryene Perry, 34, landing both in jail on various drug-related counts, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Murphy has been arrested dozens of times in multiple counties over the past decade, records show.

Talha Khan, 27, of Jersey City, and Hameem Khan, 21, of Rosendale, NY, were charged with 26 related offenses following the raid of 159 Mallory Ave., in Jersey City, according to sources with direct knowledge.

A Palisades Park couple with young children were charged with running a drug mill from their home, said authorities who reported seizing 80 pounds of pot, $303,610 in alleged proceeds and a gun during a raid.
David Baez, 36, was stopped and taken into custody after driving away from the Hillside Avenue home that he shares with Massiel Inoa, 28, and their children, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

A drug court violator from Fort Lee was caught with 23 pounds of pot, edibles and THC vape cartridges following a stop at a shopping plaza along the Hudson River, authorities said.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said detectives from his Narcotics Task Force stopped Marc A. Helewa, 22, at the Edgewater Commons off River Road off identifying him as an area dealer.

Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives found not one but two electronically-operated compartments holding more than two pounds of cocaine when they stopped two South Jersey men on the NJ Turnpike, authorities said.
They arrested the driver, identified as Pedro A. Luciano, 32, of Willingboro and Paul Harris, 35, of Camden, both unemployed, following Wednesday’s southbound Route 95 stop in Carlstadt near MetLife Stadium, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Jose A. Bello, 22, of Camden was released pending a Nov. 14 first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack following his arrest Tuesday, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.
