Police have arrested a 34-year-old Bergen County man in connection with the deadly 2021 overdose of a woman at a Pequannock Township home. David Pezak, formerly of Saddle Brook, was charged with first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death, conspiracy to distribute, distribution of a controlled substance, and other drug offenses, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. No Foul Play Suspected In Death Of 73-Year-Old Man Found At Morris County Park
The death of a 73-year-old man found at a Morris County Park Tuesday afternoon is not considered suspicious, authorities said. Mark Cozin, of Bernardsville, was found by a hiker walking a wooded trail at Jockey Hollow Park around 12 p.m., Morris County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Meghan Knab told DailyVoice.com. A 52-year-old man was killed in a triple-car crash involving a box truck in Morris County early Monday, authorities confirmed. The man was behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler heading south on Shunpike Road in Chatham Township when he was struck by a Nissan Rouge heading west near the intersection of Lafayette Avenue around 11:30 a.m., Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. A New Jersey man was arrested and charged with manslaughter Wednesday following a nearly yearlong investigation into the death of his 5-week-old daughter. Officers responding to 67 Willow Ave. in Rockaway Borough found Joseph Tarquini IV, 30, and his infant daughter, M.T., who was in medical distress around 4:55 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2021, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Authorities have released details in the body that was recovered from the Rockaway River Monday morning. A 25-year-old Morris County man was sentenced to nearly a year in jail for a drunken boating accident that killed his friend in 2019, authorities said.
