South Hackensack PD: Fleeing Driver Crashes On Wrong Side Of Route 46, Says He Swallowed Heroin An ex-con who led police on a wild chase into oncoming Route 46 traffic before crashing and trying to run told his pursuers that he’d swallowed several bags of heroin and didn’t want to die, authorities said. Christopher J. Williams, 49, of Paterson was a passenger in a 2000 Lexus stopped by South Hackensack Police Officer Kyle Skelley in the parking lot of the Dunkin’ Donuts on the eastbound highway in Little Ferry shortly before noon Friday.
