Hackensack's Ice Cream By Mike Finds New Home In Ridgewood RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Months after closing up shop in Hackensack, Ice Cream By Mike has found a new home in Ridgewood. The store's new location is 305 E. Ridgewood Ave., owner Mike Elias of Bogota said. He closed his Main Street store in Hackensack in October, saying: "Our tiny store was as a test for us, we were neither ice cream makers nor retailers," the post said. "We had a passion for ice cream and wanted to bring ours to market. Our ice cream was well received and recognized as one of the top ice creams in the state.
