DUI Driver Indicted In Crash That Killed Double Organ Transplant Survivor In NJ
A Delaware man was accused of driving drunk, speeding, and ignoring a red light in a crash that killed a woman in Atlantic County, authorities said. Kevin Wilson, 63, of New Castle, was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday, Mar. 19 for first-degree aggravated manslaughter, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. The indictment came after a deadly crash in Buena Vista Township on Saturday, June 24, 2023. A school bus overturned in a crash with a passenger car on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday, Nov. 14, leaving three students, a school aide, and the driver injured, New Jersey State Police said. Driver In NJ Turnpike Crash Under the Influence, State Police Charge
A driver was under the influence of drugs when he crashed his sedan on the New Jersey Turnpike in Bergen County, State Police said. The 24-year-old driver from Staten Island was headed south on the western spur in Carlstadt when he crashed his Lexus NX at 5:44 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, NJSP Sergeant First Class Philip Curry said. Firefighters extricated the driver, who refused medical attention at the scene, the sergeant said. State Police charged him with DUI and issued several motor vehicle summonses, he said.
