Swatting: Shotgun Shooting Report In Fair Lawn Proves Bogus A bogus call of a shotgun shooting brought Fair Lawn police to a quiet cul-de-sac. Officers who responded to the 11:45 p.m. call on Maywood Court off Morlot Avenue and Route 208 on Tuesday, Sept. 27, "rang the doorbell and spoke with all parties in the home," Police Sgt. Brian Metzler said. "They were also given permission to inspect the home with negative results to the call," he said.
