Overnight Smash 'N Grab Burglary Trio Flees Glen Rock Deli Near Fair Lawn Border A trio of pre-dawn burglars smashed their way in through the front door of a Glen Rock deli and fled with cash and cigarettes over the Labor Day weekend, authorities said. A 4:12 a.m. alarm brought officers to the Glen Rock Food Center on Maple Avenue near the Fair Lawn border on Saturday, Sept. 2, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. They found no one inside and began investigating, the chief said Tuesday. Crash Launches Honda Into Glen Rock Convenience Store (Photos) A Honda Accord driver was hospitalized after a crash propelled the vehicle into the front of a convenience store in Glen Rock (scroll for photos). The collision occurred near the intersection of Harristown Road and Maple Avenue in the late afternoon on Saturday, Oct. 8. A Honda Accord involved in the crash was then launched sideways into the front of the Glen Rock Food Center on Maple Avenue, Loving said.
