Randolph Firearms Safety Officer Shot Himself In Leg With Handgun, Report Says A man who shot himself in the leg during a Randolph firearms training course was a gun safety officer, according to a new report. Gun safety officer Martin Beresford shot himself in his left thigh last month while attempting to holster his personal Springfield Armory .45 caliber handgun at RTSP on Route 10, the Daily Record reports.
