The older pedestrian, 77, suffered "serious but non-life-threatening injuries to her upper body" after they were struck by a 2010 Chevy at the intersection of Wyckoff and Cedar Hill avenues around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, Lt. Bergen Drugstore Burglar Had Specific Target, Police Say Someone broke into a Wyckoff drug store -- all for two bottles of liquid codeine, authorities said. Officers responding to a 4:45 a.m. burglar alarm earlier this week found the front door glass shattered at Sicomac Pharmacy, in a small shopping strip off the corner of Cedar Hill Avenue, Lt. Joseph Soto said. They secured the business and learned that all that was taken were two bottles of the addictive morphine derivative, valued at $86 combined, he said. The Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence. Wyckoff detectives were investigating.

Sedan Crashes At Wyckoff Bank Drive-Through A Wyckoff driver escaped serious injury Friday when his sedan hit a curb and landed on its side at a local bank drive-thru, authorities said. The 2016 BMW 535i also hit the Chase Bank building on Cedar Hill Avenue before pitching onto the driver’s side, Police Chief David Murphy said. The 67-year-old driver refused medical attention for a cut on his face, the chief said. Police and firefighters responded, along with City Wide Towing, which removed the vehicle, he said. Wyckoff PD: Drunk Driver, 21, Goes Wrong Way On Route 208, Crashes Into Tree A wrong-way driver was drunk when she slammed her car into a tree on Route 208, Wyckoff police said. Rachel M. Rogers, 21, of Hawthorne drove her 2005 Honda Civic northbound in the southbound lanes after getting on at Cedar Hill Avenue just before midnight Tuesday, Lt. Charles Van Dyk said. After going a short distance, the Civic hit the tree, he said. "We're just fortunate that she didn't hit anyone head on," the lieutenant said. Rogers was taken by the Wyckoff Ambulance Corps to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with minor injuries. Police charged her with DWI and reckless driving.
