Aviation Repair Shop Seriously Damaged By Vehicle Rolling Off Tow Truck On Route 17
A truck being towed down Route 17 fell off the tow truck and seriously damaged a building overnight, firefighters said. The Hasbrouck Heights and Wood-Ridge fire departments were called to the southbound side of the highway around midnight. There, they found the antique truck into the side of Miraj Corporation, an aircraft repair company, at 345 Route 17. While no injuries were reported, the impact caused significant damage to the building, the fire department said.

Bricks, Concrete Fall From Hawthorne HS Building
Chunks of a Hawthorne High School parapet gave way Tuesday afternoon, raining bricks and concrete that damaged vehicles parked below. There was no immediate answer for what might have caused the chunks to come loose along a 60-foot stretch of the back of the Science Building's façade facing the athletic field on Bamford Avenue on Sept. 12. No one was injured when a runaway SUV smacked into a Woodcliff Lake home on Wednesday. A building inspector was summoned, however, to inspect the damage to the garage of the home struck at the end of a cul-de-sac on Mullholland Drive around 9:30 a.m. Dec. 21. A car slammed into an automotive repair shop in Warren County early Wednesday morning, authorities said. The local fire department was called to Steve's Pit Stop on Main Street in Hackettstown just before 6:45 a.m. and safely removed the occupant from the vehicle, authorities said. Snapple helped police find a driver who they said took off after his truck struck a small shopping strip in Glen Rock. Sgt.
