Pilot Survives Blairstown Crash Landing
A pilot was left with minor injuries after a glider plane crash landed into a Blairstown field Sunday, July 23, authorities said. Blairstown Police responded to the crash into a field near Vail Road around 2 p.m., Chief Scott Johnsen told Daily Voice. Hope Volunteer Firefighter John Kruk found the plane using a drone and contacted the pilot with help from the Blairstown Hose Company #1 and the Blairstown Ambulance Corps. Pilot, 70, Killed As Glider Plane Crashes In North Jersey
The 70-year-old pilot of a glider plane was killed as the aircraft flipped and crashed into a field in North Jersey, authorities confirmed. Officers responding to the crash report near the Blairstown Airport saw the glider plane upside down in a grassy area near the airport just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, the Blairstown Township Police Department said in a Monday release. The body of a well-known 23-year-old man missing for months was found by hunters in a wooded area in Sussex County, authorities confirmed Tuesday. North Warren High School graduate Daniel Cannone — who went missing last October — was found dead in Frankford early Sunday, Blairstown Police said. Still No Sign Of Warren County 23-Year-Old Man Missing Since October
A 23-year-old Warren County man has now been missing since mid-October, according to police who say they have found no new leads. Daniel Cannone, of Blairstown, was last seen on a RING camera on Oct. 16, DailyVoice.com reported. Cannone was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was carrying a backpack, police said. He was traveling on foot with no ID.
